About Us
Graffinity grew out of a desire to create more visual ways to search, structure and share information. As we tested prototypes with different groups, people kept telling us they wish they or their children had this at school.
In 2024, with support from the UCL Centre of Digital Innovation, Graffinity has developed a school pilot to test and design the new concept-mapping application. We are using a mixture of human and artificial intelligence to help students organise their information and thoughts and turn it into knowledge.
Through answering specific questions and project-based learning in groups they will learn how to collaborate, use concept maps, ask questions and structure their answers. The tool will help provide teachers with a way to give faster feedback and assessment. This builds on Graffinity’s ability to create mind maps of curricula and institutional knowledge to make large bodies of text more search friendly, particularly for those who want to see it in a more visual way.
